Hi,

My name is Alex. I have had CFS now for almost 21 yrs. In Sept I
was diagnosed with Diabetes. I am supposed to exercise every day -
yay right. I have been doing as told and had a crash yesterday.

Any way - are there any other CFS'ers with diabetes here on the
list. If so how do you deal with both?

It might have been helpful to mention which type of diabetes you have - I assume type II?

I don't have diabetes, but I'd recommend looking into lipoic acid, if you aren't taking it already. It is an excellent supplement for both CFS/ME (it can help fatigue and muscle weakness) and diabetes.

Please listen to your body instead of the doctors' recommendations. They don't understand that exercise and CFS/ME just don't mix.

Yes type 2.

I will look into it, but I can't take most supplements, not even a
multi vitamin. I have tried the stuff for joints and can't take
that. I have tried the stuff for IBS and can't take that, etc.

thanks
Alex
