Crash on Bank Reconciliation

Wondering if others have seen this. 2009 Pro.
File is clean, verify passed before reconcile. If I enter the interest in
the window for the reconcile it crashes when it attempts to generate the
reports. If I put the interest in as an entry before starting the
reconcile it finishes fine. Also when it crashes it changes the default
printer to the Quickbooks pdf printer.
