I was honestly disappointed with it after the first listen. It was
hard getting used to the way he sounded on this after hearing his last
album Along Came a Spider (which is an album I love.) BUT, after the
second listen, I love it.

I just finished listening to it on Spotify and it's a good album, much
better than the stuff he's put out in recent years. Very conceptual (as
expected with Alice and Ezrin)--just Alice being Alice. For an old guy,
Vince can still play Alice and make it look/sound cool.

My favorite songs are The Congregation, Ghouls Gone Wild (although it has a
Weird Al vibe to it), and When Hell Comes Home (nice groove on that song).
The thing I love about Alice is that he gets it--he knows how to play that
part and play it well.

Is the new Anthrax really that bad? I'm been hesistant to pick that one up
for fear of it sucking. Anthrax is one of those "hit or miss" bands with me,
so I tend to be weary of any new album.

I was leaning toward getting it but heard I'll Bite Your Face Off
and thought it was awful. Anthrax came out too so I got that....and
that's just OK with a couple really stand out tracks.

Great Album Alice!
I have the Best Buy Version of the "Welcome 2 My Nightmare".
I see the iTunes version has 3 different tunes & an interview about
the album i think it is.
The Vinyl record has 1 additional tune not on the other stuff.

Good grief! why not just throw it all into one single CD album so we
can have it at that clarity, geez.

That way we won't have to swap crappy mp3's of the additional tunes
with friends.

Some guy on iTunes is lamenting Alice using Autotune on this CD. I was
wondering how much that really mattered to people. So many artists
today can't sing to save their lives, personally I don't care as
technology has in effect sterilized so much of what we listen to today
on all levels.

Btw, I have the Best Buy version as well, got it for ten bucks.

Well, I've seen some reviews for Anthrax that said best album
ever. I really don't know where that's coming from though. Worship
Music is about half filler, imo. That said, "Fight 'em Til You Can't"
might be one of their best songs ever. The Devil You Know is another stand
out.

I've seen those same reviews, which got me curious about the album.

If you don't have it, I can't recommend We've Come For You All
enough. It's with John Bush from 2003, but that to me is a great
album, nowhere near as boring as Worship Music.

I'll definitely check that album out. I kind of forgot about Anthrax until
recently when I heard about this supposed "great" new album.
