Boot problem on Iyonix

Apolgies for posting here, but with the Iyonix out I can't really do most
other options, and have tried one other.

The computer starts the boot sequence until the high def screen appears,
but no pinboard and no ability to open directories. Sound including PCITV
sound is up.

On shift and break, I get usual basic desktop. If I try to execute
!Boot.choices .Boot.Desktop I get :
Parameter expansion contains unrecognised characters.

The next message is : Filing System or path Choices not present.

I have verified the Hard Disc which is OK.

This problem started on the first power up after the system hanging when
Techwriter was loading a file.

ROM is 5.16

Can anyone help me. I have a back up of a fairly recent set of boot files.

Thanks

Bob Seago

I have sorted it. Something has happened to Director. I have moved it out
of Tasks and now everything else is probably OK. I will let you know if
there is any more to say.
