1 Thes. 5:23 KJV

*******************************************************************************************************************

it has long perplexed Bible students what relationship the " spirit " has with the
" soul " and the " body " of the elect as we read in this passage. some say man is a
three fold being which only adds to the confusion since such an idea comes from ancient
Greek philosopher's. yet other's conclude the word " spirit " refer's to the life entity
in man.

confusion arises again by this last conclusion since God uses such words as " soul " to
say that the breath of life He put in Adam caused him to became a living soul. imposing
the Bible word " spirit " to mean the life element in man ( which the Atheist /
Evolutionist's can not find in the Periodic Table ) and the word " soul " to mean the life
element in man, Gen. 2:7 would have to read...

" And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life; and man became a " spirit soul. "

agai
we read in Heb. 4:12 the words soul and spirit in the same passage... " For the
word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to
the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart. "

the Bible word " spirit " as found in 1 Thes. 5:23, because of it's use here and
especially found right next the word " blameless " in that passage, the word " spirit "
here is a metaphor for " conscience. "

conscience is spoken of in the Bible as that which perceives right and wrong; a witness
in self which accuses self of moral and spiritual right and wrong toward God and man as in
Acts 24:16.

the word " conscience " in the KJV is found only in the NT; conscience stands as a direct
witness in accusing or approving the deeds of man as he relates to the Law of God as we
read in Ro. 2:15 where it is used as a synonym for the word ' heart ' and the word
' thought. ' after Judas betrayed Jesus his conscience so vehemently accused him he could
no longer live with himself and so committed suicide.

for the Law of God to be " written on their hearts " it is plain to see that it is the
conscience of man that accuses or condones his actions. ( Ro. 2:14-16 ) conscience is
" by nature "... that is to say, natural to man... an integral part of his being which
relates him to the Law of God as either one who keeps from trespassing His Law or one who
is violating His Law, whether they have a Bible or not.

since the 'spirit ' can not possibly mean ' soul ' and ' soul ' can not possibly mean
' spirit ' in 1 thes. 5:23, neither can possibly mean ' body' in that verse. but when we
see ' spirit ' as a metaphor in this verse for ' conscience ' everything comes to a clear
understanding of what God is saying.

it is a pure conscience which is spoken of again and again in the Epistles written by the
various Apostles in the NT but never a pure spirit. the association of conscience with
spirit as an expression in the language of the Bible is such by reason of both elements
being otherwise something intangible... as a breath is intangible; as the air around us is
intangible. conscience is peculiar to man only; animals have no conscience but are
a-moral.

Oh that is silly, if one wants to deny things just say it was some
Greek philosophers idea, the word "GOD" is found in most any
philosophers ideas. That does not help your argument. I am not
perplexed about such the spirit, soul, or body. The only people that
are perplexed is those that want to make the bible say what they
believe is correct, no matter if the Bible shows they are wrong.

Pulling a verse from here and there out of context is more like hiding
the facts, by mixing up verses that are not about the matter posted,
just because it is a verse, that is not the way to prove a point, it
shows that point could be fake. Where does it relate to any law of
God? Then body, soul and spirit has nothing to do with any law and is
not violating anything.

Matt 10:28-29

READ: SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY" in the above verse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man is made in the image of God, God is the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit, Three in One, as man is body, soul and spirit, Three in one
being, one can not cut out the soul or the spirit from the body and
still be alive.

since the 'spirit ' can not possibly mean ' soul ' and ' soul ' can not p=

So a cat knows nothing and a dog does not love its offspring, and feed
its offspring etc, as conscience would do that, where do you get off
without references to that "a-moral" what ever that is suppose to
mean.

CONSCIENCE means 1. Motivation deriving logically from ethical or
moral principles that govern a person's thoughts and actions.

Your conclusion makes no sense and has nothing to do with the Bible.
PURE SPIRIT which it is clear you seem not to have.
PURE means 1. Free of extraneous elements of any kind.

So Holy, Clean are all meanings found in the bible and what a person
that loves God is suppose to show, a clean heart, or pure spirit as
pure is to be clean, holy and without sinful nature. Just because the
English term "pure" is not found in the English bible while the
meaning of the word PURE sure is found in the whole Bible.

I hope no one thinks you made any bible point, except that you do not
have the education to support what you wrote as the whole of the bible
does support.

Shocking Truth

By Khadija Watson, formerly Mary Sue Malvar. "Professor, Theologian,
Missionary, Pastor, Church Planter, Licensed Ordained Minister,
fundamentalist Christian, not a likely candidate for Islam. Yet, 6
years ago, after being raised in the Christian church all my life,
(first as a Roman Catholic and then as a Born-Again, Spirit-Filled
Christian) and having completed a Standard Ministerial Diploma,
Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Divinity, I embraced Islam! What
was it that brought about such a radical change?

I started to question Christian beliefs while I was studying for my
Master's degree. As was my habit, I read through the Bible once every
year for 12 years. I had done this along with multiple readings in
connection with my preaching, teaching and studies. It was during
these readings that I started to notice certain contradictions.
For instance, we teach the doctrine of Original Sin from Genesis 3
but it is contradicted in Ezekiel 18:1-22. If this basic doctrine is not

I think this is all false, as the doctrine of "Original Sin" is not
Christian it is Roman Catholic and would not be taught as truth in a
non-catholic school. I also believe your statements about "Spirit-
filled" etc. are just words you picked up to make it look like you
were a born again believer. Such teachings is from a church that is
not born again or who's doctrines are biblical.

true, the whole foundation of all Christianity falls. I saw these
things as I read, and always stopped to ponder them, but never had
time to research them because of my studies, etc. Yes, during my 8
years of study, we read through the Bible book-by-book, chapter-by-
chapter and verse-by-verse; however, we never did a cross study, so
any contradictions that are apparent were never addressed. Also, this
was the first time we studied Church History by actual history and not
from the Bible. It was at this point that I began to question Christian D=
octrines
that were not in existence during the time of Jesus; rather, they began
325 years later starting with the Doctrine of the Trinity. The word
"trinity" is not found in any Bible in the world, neither is it in the
original Greek and Hebrew languages [these were the original
languages that the Bible was written in]. This Doctrine [of Trinity] was
introduced at the first of 4 councils that determine Christianity
today, but because the Catholics at that time would not accept it-it
had to be reintroduced 68 years later, at the 2nd council of Nicaea.
Through the Doctrine of Incarnation, which makes Jesus both God and
man, to the Doctrine of Propitiation, or perfect sacrifice, the
formulation of all of these doctrines took more than 100 years.
I always had a hunger in my heart to know more of God. One day, I
went to my professor and stated, "There has to be more to Christianity
than what we teach. We tell the people they must be "Born Again" (meaning
you have made a personal statement and commitment to asking Jesus
Christ to come into your heart and forgive your sins and make you a
new person), or you must be "Filled with the Holy Spirit"-in addition
to being "Born Again" (in which the person will have an in-filling of
the Holy Spirit, experienced by glossolalia or speaking in tongues).
I had both of these experiences, although they are not recognized as
necessary by all Christian churches or denominations. There is a lot
of in-fighting and theological differences between denominations.
Protestants do not recognize Catholics as even being Christian
because they worship Mary, the mother of Jesus [peace be upon him] along =
with
various saints. Baptists do not have "fellowship" with non-Baptists.
In addition, there are Methodist, Wesleyan, Presbyterian,
Congregational, Pentecostal churches and a thousand independent
churches that do not belong to any denomination. They all differ on
points of doctrine or interpretation of the Bible. I felt that if
what we were teaching were genuine, there would be no need for
denominations. There should be an apparent change in society around
us. Instead, society is in a decline and in worse condition than it
was even 50 years ago! The [so called] Christian countries are among
the worst. My professor was lost for words and couldn't respond.
I went ahead and graduated with my Masters of Divinity (a degree in
Theology) in 1993. A month after graduating, I decided to study
German. One of my classmates was a medical doctor who had spent six
years in Dubai . We became friends and I noticed he was always asking
me questions concerning the Old Testament. I was, also, always asking
him questions concerning culture in the Middle East . (I was never
interested in Islam, although my major throughout my studies was in
missions. We had studies in Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism and
Catholicism along with cults. My interest was in Animism, or tribal
worship.) When we were together, I noticed he was different. He
always wanted to pray, but in a Christian context. When we were out, he w=
as
always giving money to the beggars. He even had a plastic bag full of
coins in the car for this purpose. One day I mentioned to him that if
I hadn't known better, I would have thought he were Muslim. He
confessed to me that when he was in Dubai , he had embraced Islam,
but had never told his family. When he returned to the Philippines , he
apostatized and was no longer praying or practicing Islam. His family
were devoted Catholics, although he was no longer affiliated with the
Catholic Church, rather the Protestant church.
It was within this same time frame that I met a lady who had embraced
Islam while working in Saudi Arabia . I was living in Manila at the
time, and although there are Muslims there, it's not like I was out
looking for them. I thought this was rather strange that I should
meet two people who were Muslims within such a short time. Knowing how Go=
d
works in my life through ordinary circumstances, I jokingly said,
"Okay, God, what are you trying to tell me?"

More like Okay Devil what are you trying to tell me? Would be
correct. It is not strange to meet two Muslims in Manila or any place
in the Philippines, the Muslims were trying to kill any non-muslim and
we had to pick up bodies off our campus in Bukidnon and we would never
turn our back to a Muslim, I did have some hajj friends and there is
no way a follow of God would want to accept such a anti Christ group.
They deny that Jesus is God and they call Jesus a prophet but deny His
words, as Jesus said no man comes to God except by Him, with out
Jesus your lost as are all the muslims. They even kill those that
believe Allah and pray toward Mecca five times a day. They bomb
places of worships that are suppose to be for Allah and the people
follow the Quran, daily in the newspapers in Iraq and Iran and other
nations that have large numbers of Islamic believers. Kill and Kill
some more, they most likely are laughing at you for accepting their
religion and will kill you if they think it is what they hear Allah
telling them to do.

I asked her about Islam, and the first thing I asked concerned how
women were treated. It is well known (as we are taught in the west and
hear through the media) that Muslim women are second-class citizens
with no rights. She must hide herself in an abaya/purdah or covering
because her husband or father does not want anyone to see her. She
must stay in the house, she is uneducated and along with this the
husband has a right to beat her!
I was stunned by her answer. She said the wife and mother are highly
respected in Islam.

She lied! Anyone can ask the man in Iraq or Iran about what a woman
place is, and she as a woman with children obeying completely like a
slave could be seen as highly respected in Islam as she dare not speak
out against any law of Islam or against her husband or his family. I
know I lived in areas where Islam was accepted.

When the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon
him) asked who after Allah should we respect (not worship)? He said, ?
Your mothers!? When asked again he repeated the same thing and when
asked a third time, he said, ?Your mothers then your fathers.?
Imagine, after Allah-God, you are commanded to respect your mother.
Even in Prophet Muhammad's last sermon, he admonished men to respect
woman and give them their rights!! The first person to embrace Islam
was a woman, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon
him) and the first martyr in Islam was a woman. Why wouldn't women be
respected?

You say his wife, was killed for following the false prophet and then
you as a blessing to be on him. Are you just insane or stupid?
Sounds like your demon processed.

When I asked her about the covering that women have to ware, she
explained that women are covered because it is the command of Allah
for the protection of women. In the United States today every 90
seconds a woman is raped!! 0When a woman is raped it is because of
the clothing (or lack of it) that she is wearing. Men are aroused by what
they see. When prisoners convicted for rape were asked what they look
for in a victim, they all said accessibility.

So it is the woman fault she was raped, if those men were followers of
God they never would of been looking at her in such away. They sin,
they kill and you give them an excuse, so the woman is respected as
long as she dresses and obey their master husband. Such respect gets
her killed. Man that rape others and say they are followers of the
Quran only show people that their god is no other then Satan, the
devil that also do not respect Jesus or the Holy Word of God the
Bible.

She also went on to explain that spousal abuse is not a part of Islam.
Every 4 minutes in the United States a woman is molested or abused.

Lets look at Iraq or Iran or some other Islamic nation where it is not
reported as in the USA there is most likely 100 or more woman in 4
minutes molested or abused and the USA would be seen as a holy nation
which it is not, but compare it with Islam and Islam would be the land
of demons and murders etc.

Snip out the trash God garbage of Islam and other that reject the
Saviour and Lord Jesus.

God is Great! And Jesus is the Saviour.

I know many followers of Islam that are now Born Again Christians that
God in Christ Jesus blesses and honors daily.
